I had a biased first glance at this wine, because it comes from a big production house and it was priced at $11.99. I thought to myself, "this has to be an after thought product that they have to use to make a profit". I will tell you, that I was wrong. This wine is a fantastic value purchase. Tropical aromas of pineapple, guava, peach, passionfruit, and mango jump out of the glass instantly. The mouthfeel is nice and rich with a hint of sweetness that makes the flavors seem a little overripe. Overripe for this is a good thing. Blended into the mix is a mouthwatering acidity that carries the flavors into the next sip. This is what I call a delicious wine. This could easily pair with a fruit salad, charcuterie board, or poultry cuisines.
