Loveblock is a traditional benchmark New Zealand Sauvignon blanc usually, but their new "tee" offering is a game changer! In this healthy lifestyle era, Loveblock tee fits in and sets the tone for organic offerings. What sets the tee apart from their benchmark Loveblock offering is that in the winemaking process the team discovered that using green tea leaves in their steps made the wine more oxidation resistant, added nice soft natural tannin, and added a delicate green tea aroma and flavor to the wine. Some of the other aromas and flavors of the wine are fresh grapefruit, mandarin, pineapple, apple, yellow pear, green tea, basil, mixed cocktail fruit cup juice, tarragon, melon, gooseberry, and ripe green bell pepper. This would pair really nice with rotisserie chicken, cream sauce pasta, seafood, raw oysters, and creamy cheeses like goat cheese.
